Only been on this Forum for a few weeks, got my VN about 6 weeks ago. Like the car has great road holding and good acceleration for a car in this price range. The summer tires will be good for this area because of little rain (7 inches per year) and high temperatures.
I live in the high desert area of central-south Washington State. Dave

So, I suppose having (7" of rain annually), make you on the east side of the mountain range possibly Kennewick or Yakima. I know on the western side, has a massive 110-120+ inches a year.
