Wife got a new 2020 Kia Soul GT-Line today. White and Red and it's a little mover as well. Fully loaded of course. The Soul has come a long way since their first production. 1.6T Gamma 201 hp engine. Little bugger rips and turns over the tires in first and second gear.:D

I'm actually quite impressed with the car all the way around. Saw 42.4 mpg on the way home from the dealership. I'll post some photos and specs tomorrow. To late this evening.

Time for a tuner, downpipe, intake and a custom exhaust. I can't find a exhaust for it online. Maybe someone else knows where there is one available here in the US, UK, Europe or Asia? Any input welcome. :)

Wife's happy, so am I. Happy wife happy life!!!:p

She wanted the Soul. So sadly no Kona N. However, I believe I can safely get the engine up to and over 250 hp, whp maybe 225+ with tune and various bolt ons.;) Don't know how the tires will fair with this output but it's only the fronts.:p

Oh yeah and so much more! There was something to be said about simplicity though.:p

One thing I have realized, when you have a automobile with this amount of technology and features, you miss it when they're not available. Not that I'm dependant on such technology but it can sure help when not so intelligent drivers are unable to apply common sense, as they were years ago. Drivers with cell phones and other driving distractions, not paying attention to what they need to have on their minds when driving.

People are possessed by cell phones and it's become a menace on the road. It surpasses DUI's and other motor vehicle accident causes. I see it everyday, you pull up to a stop light and the cars next to you and behind are on a cell phone. I give them a wide berth.

At least now, I get a heads up from some numbnuts driving like an idiot or an unaware pedestrian with their nose stuck in a cell phone crossing the street.

The FCA reacted yesterday and dodged a nutcase crossing three lanes of traffic to make a left turn. Sometimes it happens so fast, you don't have time to react and I don't care how good a driver you are.

I have the 2019 turbo soul and it misses out on those safety features. If only i had the time to wait a year as i missed out on a substantial upgrade. It really is a gorgeous redesign although im not a fan of the reflector fake light bar in the back. Would look so much better if it was an actual LED (i wonder if an aftermarket LED would be possible). And the spoiler on the 2019 gives the car such a unique look its kinda sad theres no option for one on the 2020. Probably because of the light bar. Other than those few growing pains, the car really is beautiful. I hated the OG soul, its crazy how far they've come.

I'm adding a painted spoiler, so it will change the line of the tail end somewhat. They also have a running light conversion for the rest of the bar as well. the nice thing is, a driver can't say I didn't see the 3rd brake light. All the lights are right in your face all the time.

LED upgrades in the front make so much difference. They are mega bright! Even the Fog Lamps make a large impact. We both like the Soul quite a bit. It's grown on me since we brought it home.

They've had over 10 years of production to get it right and they finally got rid of the Hamsters!!:p

Yeah, it was one of the first things I looked for as it's not an optional accessory for the 2020.

The LED kits travel down both side of the hatch and you can get them with a braking option that pulses, then goes to solid.

Well, it's now canolied with $1300 of PPF; 24" up the bonnet, fenders, full front end, along with a-pillars and roof strip! Even did the windscreen with ClearPlex.

After putting two windshield in the Accent Limited this past year, it's time to add some additional protection for the windscreen.
