Interior Infotainment and climate control differences

Guys I hope you can help me with an insight about these two topics cause I planning to buy a used i20 N in the next months.
I have been watching the selling ads and I have noticed that at least for German market there are two types of infotainment and climate control units.
One is with a smaller screen that has many buttons and the other one is with a larger one. Also regarding climate control I saw one with AC, I believe, and another one with automatic climate control.

Can you tell me if there were two types of equipment and how they were calling them or its just the fact that between some timelines they had equipped the car with the smaller screen and just AC and after that they made a small upgrade?

I know that there were some optional things that you had to pay extra money for them like BOSE audio system, black roof and different paint that the standard, but I know nothing about these two things. Can you help me cause I need to know what to ask when buying the car.

I don’t know about Germany specifically but I know that the i20N was supplied with both the head units you describe depending on the country. I don’t think any country got both of them though - I could well be wrong though. As for the air- con, well the better one is climate control and the other is air-condititioning. All the i20Ns I have seen have been full climate control though and I didn’t think there was another option. Both of these come from the standard i20 though so if air-con comes on that then it may be an i20N fit.

Also I saw that are versions that have these two things mixed. For example small multimedia screen and automatic climate control.

At the beginnig In the german market were sold to different versions:

"i20N" and "i20N Performance"

Main difference was the Limited Slip Differential, SmartKey and the Automatic Climate Control instead of A/C.
Also the "i20N" was only available in silver and had no seat heating on the passanger seats in 2nd row.

The big navigation screen was an option only for the "Performance" including the Bose Audio...

I`m not sure about last month of selling maybe there were some changes?

You´re welcome. I`d recommend the "Performance" as that model have the LSD and if you like fast driving you want to have the LSD...

Idk if this applies for your situation but here in italy all versions are the N Performance and the only thing that could change was the "Techno pack" package, which includes the bigger screen, auto climate control, and bose sound system. Also techno pack in germany includes heated seats and steering wheel, which are not available in italy, bringing a lot of people to import the car from germany.

Keep in mind that the techno pack version doesn't support wireless android auto while the non techno pack version does instead.

In the U.K. the ‘Techno Pack’ did not exist as an option, but the heated front seats*, heated steering wheel, bigger screen and auto climate control all came as standard. The Bose was an option and so was the black roof (these being the only two options).
* some markets also got heated rear seats.

You can individually check if the N is equipped with the LSD or not!

Jack the car up on both sides, so that each wheel is in the air, start to rotate one for example the right one clockwise, the opposite / left wheel must spin in the same direction, like it does while it drives.

On an open diff (non LSD) you spin the right wheel clockwise, the oppsite will spin clockwise too. Like the right wheel spins forward, like on driving, while the opposite spins like on reverse driving.
