How to remove front N logo?

I’ve moved the i of the i20 down just a small amount - looks better balanced.

So, just changed my badge.
If you want to do it without removing the bumper.
Just drill a hole in the same location as i have, (only have to go through the width of the badge untill the peg comes off) then you can just grab hold of it with a pair of pliers and it just pulls off.
Iv then stuck my new badge on with 3M double sided tape.

That’s great info - can’t thank you enough . So, now you’ve got it off, do you think it’s possible to press in one of the rear facing tabs and get it off without drilling it?

also, I’m a bit torn between three options 1/ matte black, 2/ matte red and 3/ gloss black (like yours).

Theres no way i could get to the back of the badge at all, and usually on the peg that i have drilled out is a little metal retaining clip that holds the badge fully in place so you couldnt just pop it out anyways, its the same setup on the rear H badge.

I went with the gloss black as i wanted the badge to blend in on the grille, just a subtle bit of colour on it to draw the eye.

It‘s all very OTT for a small plastic badge! I don’t see why it isn’t just glued on like the back one is! I can reach the right hand tab through the front of the grill but the rest is out of reach. I’ll probably end up drilling it as you have done.

For what it would cost to buy a new standard badge. I think its worth just drilling it out than faffing on dropping the bumper off.
If i had a reason to take the bumper off, like changing the intercooler etc then i would do it properly, but not intending to do that for a while yet so drilling is by far the easiest way

You can buy both from Aliexpress or, for a bit more money but quicker delivery, from eBay. Just search Hyundai logo, or N logo. In the end I didn’t remove my front N logo and just changed the colour with a sticker pack from Amazon.

They’re on eBay, but now seem to be silly money. Try aliexpress/Alibaba as well maybe

Many thanks mate... It was be me crazy to put my hand in and try to get it out without removing the bumper. Tomorrow I'll put 2 drills in it and chrome it out. Thanks a lot!

You don't have to take the bumper off.

Look at the side of the logo (the plastic on where it's mounted) and see where there's a small gap. Then go through the nearest hole in the bumper next to the logo with your pointer finger. You can grip around and go behind the logo to push out one of the clips. The logo comes out a bit and then you can pull from the front.

Edit: Maybe I'll find some time the next days and do an example video
