How To: LED Rear Indicators

Got these for my new I30N FB to replace the rear indicators, for anyone wanting to order them in Europe: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07WVWTPVC normally I order from Amazon DE but they seem to prohibit selling replacement bulbs and many other things deemed non-TUV. At least I didn't have to go to the UK site this time and get stung by import duty.

But boy was getting the rear clusters out a total pain in the backside - why did they have to make it so difficult.

And also, here are the reversing bulbs I just fitted and also work well: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07P5YP92Y but so much easier to replace.

Do you guys think resistors for the rear lamps will be useful? Or should I just get them for the indicators?

Reverse light led bulbs do not cause any error message so you don't really need any resistors.

The only item to consider is the quality of the bulbs so they will not burn and fail. LED bulbs are notorious for heating up and getting cooked.
Assuming that reverse is engaged sparingly and for short duration , it's also not a big concern.
