i30 N FL front bumper mesh loosens

So Ive got this problem on my i30N FL Hatch, that my front bumper mesh loosens when driving at higher speeds (170kph+). I guess due to the wind, the splitter pulls down the whole bumper, which in return results in the mesh getting loosen. Ive tried Sikaflex to glue it back, but it wont hold. I can push it back everytime it happens BTW.

Anyone with some ideas to get it rock solid in place and stay there even at 280kph

Might sound stupid but remove the splitter? Its a normal issue with all of these aftermarket "cheap" splitters that just mount to the front bumper and not to the chassis.

My Maxton Frontsplitter, which was poking out even more, caused a big crack on my front bumper. So I will no longer run these kind of aggressive splitters without any kind of solid mounting when driving autobahn level speeds.

I mean of course its due to the lip, it bends the bumper down. And no its not chassis mounted. Actually there is no chassis mounted front splitter available for the FL that can be legally driven in Germany (otherwise i would have it mounted ) This is the closest you can get, without having one of these thin plastic ones. Mine is a solid board. So its not due to being "cheap", its because it IS a lip. But yes, its mounted to the bumper and I will not remove it. Its not that big of a deal but its annoying.

I wonder if opening the plastic divider of the bumper (that black original edge under the bumper), that is preventing air from going between the lip and bumper, will weaking the downforce effect on the bumper enough to not make it happening again. But then, having air going "inside" the bumper, which is enclosed below, isnt really a good thing

That’s probably part of the problem. My Maxton splitter (talking about the street pro variant) was also a solid piece, so it didn’t bend much either. The new CSR splitter I’ve just installed is more flexible, so it doesn’t transfer as much force into the bumper.
