hi has anyone had spark plugs fale after 8k. Had my i30n performance which is 9 mth old towed to a dealer today as the engine was running rough , missing & engine light was on. Dealer said that the spark plug on number 1 cylinder failed.

Cracked insulator? This was a problem in the past. Mobis Plugs weren’t up to snuff.
Got the full 'life' out of my first set, they were changed at the scheduled service interval 70 thou I think, can't remember but it was a ~$700 service through the dealer
My misfire issue was put down to a faulty injector in the end.
