Decided to do a quick DIY guide to replace the arm rest. I got the N-Performance Alcantara version from Mr. Kim.
Some people took the whole center console apart, but this isn't necessary.
DIY Difficulty 1-10: 1
Time: 10 minutes

1. Unscrew all three of these screws. The center one is the hardest part of the installation. Get a thin, preferably long shanked flat head and forcibly unscrew it.

2. Pop off the rubber stops with a small, thin flat head. I tried removing one with tweezers.. bad idea.

3. Unscrew the two remaining screws under the rubber stops. Remove the bottom piece with a trim remover.

4. Remove the 4 screws connecting to the center console.

5. Now do the same for the new armrest, which is much easier since it's not attached.

6. Now just put everything back with the new armrest, and you're good to go! I was able to put the middle screw back, but it's not necessary. It's not worth it honestly.

All done!

You can utilize a offset or rachet screw drive to replace the center screw.
Where can we buy this? :)

Edit, I see it's for the Veloster, will it fit the i30n?
No, it's not available of for the i30N. They have different size consoles. It's produce by Hyundai N-Performance for the VN only. :)
