Has anyone of you gone through the ventilation system? As in where is it routed, are there clamps that could disconnect, where is the intake for fresh air etc?
Strange question maybe, but I think an animal got into the ventilation, or peed somewhere near the fresh air intake for the air system and I’m not quite sure where to start looking.
Symptom is a strong pee/kinda ammonia smell when the ventilation or A/C turns on. I had a quick look under the hood and didn’t find any dead animals or obvious wet spots or whatever, but I’d like to be thorough before going to the dealer with this problem.
Also, is there perhaps something else that might cause this smell? Wrong liquid used in some system or something like that?
