(Gratuitous Aussie post following, ignore if you're not from here!)

I took advantage of the Repco 30% off sale for NRMA members today and stocked up on some Bowden's Own goodies - Just the basics for now:
  • Nanolicious Wash with Shagtastic wash pad
  • Dirty Deed cloth for the dirty bits
  • A couple of Big Softie's + After Glow for afterwards.
I need to investigate why my PW pulses before I can go sown the path to use the Snow Cannon pre-wash!

Next steps:
  • Something for the wheels
  • Something for inside (I have Enjo cloths for this task at present)
Baby steps :)
I don't have any affiliation with Bowden's Own but I am very happy with their products.
Fully recommend Wheely Clean for the wheels. I have the Snow Cannon and I am not sure if it is more hype that efficient. I will persist and see if the dreaded swirl marks are reduced.
After Glow is good too. I obviously have not gone down the ceramic path so only time will tell if my choice is correct for me or not.:)

I can second the recommendation of @Stash-N for the Wheely Clean. I grabbed some after recently exhausting my supply of the Meguiars equivalent and found it to be a superior product. Added bonus is (apparently) the 'New Formula' which they proudly state on the label "No longer smells like arse". Kinda glad I'm a late entry into the Bowden's Own stable.

Not the level of bead porn many others lust after but enough of it to see it’s claim. Btw to all Sydneysiders, I washed my car today therefore the rain is my fault!

Can I ask something - say I give the car a nice wash plus decontamination clean and dry tonight.....can I apply a wax tomorrow ok?

It’s decent weather here just now and no rain forecast for a few days. Just don’t have time to do everything in a ‘oner’ If you know what I mean.....

This is where a snow foam would be great, you still will get fall out and dirt settle over night and you will mashing that into the paint if you do nothing. If you not have a snow lance I would pressure rinse and dry with QD atvthe very least

Cheers for the advice. I kinda thought it wasn’t such a good idea and its not practical where I am to use the pressure washer.

I’ll fit it all in same day over the weekend:cool:

Phew! Finished a night turn this morning at 6am, high speed 40 mile commute home (roads are great at that time on a Sunday morning :D) and then washed and waxed the car before the dreaded heat of the midday sun! Just finished apart from autosol on the exhausts and tyre slik for You know where... coffee break Me thinks!

Why did you sell? what have you got now?

I was fed up with terrible fuel consumption, bad fitting panels and constant build quality and getting my ass handed to me on most traffic lights (childish i know )

I got a BMW M140I shdow ED

love it mate, fuel consumption is just as bad when your on it but much better when just going to being lazy.
The noise of the 3.0 6 cylinder B58 is amazing. Im on 400+ bhp and combined with ZF auto box no allot will keep up in straight line in the dry. Its got all the toys that the N had plus some more and i paid the same money for the M140i as i did on the N so it was a no brainier
Downside is in heavy rain/cold summer tyres with that power and RWD is a matter of which ditch you end up in not when :p
I purchased winter tyres and wheels so that's sorted me out

Awesome!
I love the engine in the M140i. To bad it is discontinued in the successor...

I had my car paint and interior treated inside and out, is it ok to polish the car or use car shampoo on it, same with the inside what do you think is safe to do, thanks in advance.

What was it treated with?
The interior if clean needs nothing more then a damp microfiber to get rid of the dust and light dirt, only when there soiled will i use APC and cleaners.
