Dan_bush27’s FL DCT N Performance thread

Just taken delivery of my Deadweight industries Tonge 500 lightweight battery. It weighs only 3.8kg! A total of 16kg saving over the stock battery 😲 Absolutely perfect to reduce some of that weight over the front axle added from the DCT box. The best lb for £ saving around without just removing parts
Have you tried the batteries before? I'm considering it for mine, but not sure how it'll go as a direct replacement for my car as I use it.... a handful of times per week.

FINALLY! After 4 months of waiting, I picked up my FL DCT i30n last Friday. I got straight to it fitting some of the parts I had bought since ordering, over the weekend. Springs, whiteline roll bars and bushes are going on in very soon over at Cooksport. A trip down to Courtenay Sport for a stage 1 map, a day at RPM performance ftheir new sportcat downpipe, flexi and gpf delete, then off to Forge Motorsport for development, like my last.

I’m staring my own YouTube channel to cover everything I’m doing to the car, I’ve already started with my pickup and first impressions video, so that’ll be my first posted up on the channel in a few weeks. If there’s anything anybody thinks would be a good addition to the channel, please do let me know.

Here she in in her stock format

I’m so happy the way this is turning out. The FL is such a beautiful car and I am in love with the shadow grey paint.
I have so much in the pipeline for this car, I just cannot wait to get stuck in even more.

Subscribed. Feedback (if you want it) well edited video but let down by the audio. Would suggest a mic, I’m sure it would be worth you investing as I suspect your videos will prove popular.
looking forward to the next!
Hi Kristian, honestly, thank you for the feedback as this is all completely new to me. Since filming the video I’ve taken delivery of personal mics as well as a bullet mic to cater for all scenarios. I’ve also invested in a canon m50 for a better quality of filming 😊.

But please, anybody with any feedback, it’s very welcome as I’m totally new to this and looking to improve as I go

Top job, roll on the next video 👍🏻

A visit to Monster wraps for a newly designed side decal (after my old one ended up being so popular) and treated the front end to a PPF. New first round of mods video coming to YouTube soon 😁
What part of the front did you get PPF'd, whats an average cost?

I had the full front (wings bonnet (full) mirrors and front bumper done) just under £1k
I've never had ppf done before but thinking about it for my i20n (when it arrives). Stupid question but can you see it when it's on? I'm just a little concerned you may see 5hitty plastic wrapped over your bonnet? Can you recommend it being done?
